Running more than one business: the extra business discount

Each business in Tallibook has its own books and its own plan. If you own more than one, you don't pay full price for each.

How it works

Your most expensive business is full price. Every other business you own is an extra business, and its price depends on its own plan:

• Starter extra: $6 a month or $60 a year (instead of $9 or $90).
• Solo extra: $9 a month or $90 a year (instead of $19 or $190).
• Pro extra: $19 a month or $190 a year (instead of $39 or $390).

Pro includes 2 extra businesses. When your full-price business is on Pro, your next 2 businesses cost nothing, whatever plan they're on, and they get every Pro feature (meetings, a team of up to 3, and the rest) while they're included. More businesses after those 2 get the extra prices above.

Which business is full price?

• The one with the highest plan price. Yearly prices count per month, so Pro monthly comes before Pro yearly.
• If two cost the same, the one that started paying first.
• A business set to cancel at the end of its period goes last, so another one takes over the full price from its next bill.

When something changes (you add a paying business, switch plans, cancel or delete one), we work it out again. Prices change from your next bill: we never charge you anything extra in between.

The fine print

• Free trials stay free. Every new business still gets its own 14-day free trial, no credit card. The discount starts when the business starts paying, and if you choose a plan during the trial, your first bill already has it.
• It's about who owns the businesses. Being an admin or a team member in someone else's business doesn't count.
• On your bill it shows as Extra business discount.
• Settings → Plan & billing shows what each business pays and, when you choose a plan for another business, the price as an extra business.
