Share your numbers with your accountant
On the Tax season pack, tap Create a link for my accountant; they get a private, read-only download link for that year that works for 30 days, no account needed.
Your accountant doesn't need a Tallibook account to get your numbers. Send them a private link to that year's tax pack.
Create the link
- Step 1: Go to Reports → Tax season pack and pick the year.
- Step 2: Under Share with my accountant, tap Create a link for my accountant.
- Step 3: Send it:
- Email my accountant opens your email app with the link and a short note ready to go.
- Copy link copies it, to paste into a text or an email.
- Share… (on phones) opens your phone's share sheet.
Only owners and admins can create links.
What your accountant sees
A page with your business name and the year, the whole pack as one .zip, and each file on its own: the Schedule C summary, profit and loss, mileage log, expenses, income and the 1099 list. They can only download; they can't change anything.
How long it works
The link works for 30 days, then stops on its own. It also stops if the person who shared it is no longer an owner or admin of the business. Anyone with the link can download the pack, so send it only to your accountant.
