Undo an import

Owners and admins can undo a statement or receipt import from Money → Import, and a Move to Tallibook import from Settings → Move here; anything you've used since is kept.

Updated

Imported the wrong file, or the same statement twice? You can undo a whole import. Only owners and admins can.

Undo a statement or receipt import

  1. Step 1: Go to Money → Import.
  2. Step 2: Under Recent imports, find the import and tap its undo button. Right after an import you can also tap Undo this import on the summary.

This removes everything from that import that's still waiting in To review. Items you already decided stay: undo those one by one from the Done tab in To review.

Undo a Move to Tallibook import

  1. Step 1: Go to Settings → Move here (on a phone: More → Move to Tallibook).
  2. Step 2: Under Your imports, tap Delete this import and confirm. Right after an import you can also tap Undo this import on the done screen.

This removes the customers, recurring charges, invoices, jobs and products it brought in, and puts back anything a merge filled in on customers you already had.

What's kept, and why

Undo never removes things you've used since the import. For example:

  • an invoice that was paid in Tallibook since,
  • a customer you've invoiced or added to since,
  • anything you changed after the import.

When it's done, Tallibook tells you what it kept and why, so you can tidy up by hand if you need to.
