Follow-ups and the activity timeline
Add a follow-up with a due date on any customer, job or invoice; Today reminds you when it's due, and the timeline keeps notes and calls.
A follow-up is a reminder to do something for a customer: call back, send the proposal, check in after a job.
Add a follow-up
- Step 1: Open a customer and go to the Follow-ups tab. (You can also add one on a job or an invoice.)
- Step 2: Tap Add follow-up.
- Step 3: Type what you need to do, like "Send the proposal".
- Step 4: Pick when: Today, Tomorrow, In 3 days, Next week, or a date.
- Step 5: Tap Add follow-up.
When it's due
Follow-ups that are late or due today show up on Today under Needs you. Ones due later are under Coming up. Tap the circle next to it when it's done. Changed your mind? Delete it with the trash button.
Follow-ups are also added for you when you add a contact by voice and mention a next step, and from the action items of a recorded meeting.
The activity timeline
A customer's Activity tab is their history: notes, calls, emails and meetings you log, plus things Tallibook adds for you, like "Invoice opened by the customer".
To add to it:
- Step 1: On the customer's Activity tab, tap Add a note or call.
- Step 2: Pick Note, Call, Email or Meeting, and type what happened.
- Step 3: Tap Save note (or Save call, and so on).
Just finished a phone call? Tap Just log a call to record it in one tap.
Delete an entry with its trash button. Entries Tallibook added, like invoice updates, can't be deleted.
