Upload a pile of receipts at once
In Money → Import, under Upload receipts, pick up to 50 photos, PDFs or saved emails at a time; each is read and waits in To review.
Catching up on a shoebox of receipts, or a folder of PDFs? Add them all at once instead of one by one.
Upload them
- Step 1: Go to Money → Import.
- Step 2: Under Upload receipts, tap Choose receipts, or drop the files into the box on a computer.
- Step 3: Pick up to 50 files: photos, PDFs or saved emails (.eml). On a phone you can pick straight from your photos or files.
- Step 4: Wait while it says Adding….
- Step 5: Tap Review to go to To review.
Each receipt is read for you: the amount, the date, the store and a suggested category. If we can't read the total, the card asks What did you pay? so you can type it.
Then review them
In Money → To review, tap Business on each one (or Approve all) to add it as an expense, or Personal to leave it out. If a receipt matches an expense you already have, for example from a bank statement, tap Link to attach it instead of adding it twice. See Business or personal?
Good to know
- The same file uploaded twice is only added once.
- Photos should be clear and flat, with the total visible. Receipts over 10 MB can't be read.
- A receipt that isn't in US dollars is flagged so you can type the amount charged to your card.
Bulk upload is on every plan.
