What Tallibook connects to (and what it doesn't yet)
Tallibook works with files, not live connections: you bring data in from statements, forwarded emails and other apps' exports, and take it out as CSV, Excel, PDF or the tax pack; there's no QuickBooks, Shopify or bank-feed sync yet.
Updated
Tallibook doesn't plug into other apps with live connections yet. Instead, it reads the files those apps already give you, and it hands your accountant clean files back. Here's what works today.
Bring things in
- Bank and card statements: download a statement from your bank (CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, QBO or PDF) and drop it into Money → Import. See Import a bank statement.
- Receipts in your email: forward them to your private Tallibook address, or set up auto-forwarding once. Works with Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and any other email. See Forward email receipts.
- Your old app: Move to Tallibook reads export files from QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Wave, FreshBooks, HoneyBook, Dubsado, Square, Stripe, Jobber, Housecall Pro, HubSpot, Google, iPhone and Outlook contacts, plus your own spreadsheets and PDF lists. See Move to Tallibook.
- Payouts from Uber, DoorDash, Upwork, Etsy and similar: add them as money in under Platform payouts, or import the bank deposits from your statement.
Take things out
- For your accountant or TurboTax: the tax season pack, your Schedule C summary, and reports as CSV, Excel or PDF. See Use Tallibook with TurboTax.
- Your customers: export them as CSV, Excel or contacts (vCard). See Export your customers.
Not available yet
- Live bank feeds (automatic transactions from your bank). For now, import a statement once a month.
- Two-way sync with QuickBooks, Xero or Shopify. You can move your data in from them, but changes don't sync back and forth.
- Card payments on invoices (Stripe, Square or PayPal checkout). Your customers pay you the way they do today, and you record the payment.
- Zapier, an open API, or a direct Gmail connection.
